Download chameleon rc3

Same problem here! No solution found yet I fixed my network! It seems the -x32 kernel flag in my com. It gave me "still waiting for root device", but Chameleon Have a fully working Snow Leopard Install with major apps running in bit mode and also 32 bit ones like. Hurt for installer pkg. I guess you should open your own Site just to make install packages that everyone forgets for the Newbies!!

Installer works as intended. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. I've been using -x32 flag in my com. I just got mine working. Well kind of. I did a manual install to both raid slices but no matter what I try, only one of them will boot properly. Other one just does this I am currently on a Hackintosh iAtkos Install Snow leopard onto your Raid Volume from the Osinstall. Install process does automatically install additional files in the helper partitions of each slices "Boot OSX" , you will notice this is different than Leopard.

License and Copyright This software is made available as-is under a BSD-like license [1] see included copyright notice.

Notes [1] This software is licensed under the Repoze license. Changes 3. The default symbol in dynamic attributes is now symbolic. Previously, it was assigned the string value of the default attribute text. The built-in attrs dictionary of static element attributes now correctly works with tal:define , etc. Fix slice code generation compatibility issue on Python 3. Fixed issue where setting a global variable would not be available locally. A RepeatDict no longer inherits from dict since it does not actually provide that interface in a meaningful way.

Added support for Python 3. Note that this reverses some of the changes introduced to fix issue Drop support for Python 3. Add support for custom exception handling for the tal:on-error statement.

Fix an issue where backslash dollar escaping would leave the backslash character still in place. Fix edge case in exception handler causing recursion.

This is useful in the case where the template file input is modified before parsing for example, where some tags are stripped away such that token positions need to be offset accordingly for error locations to be rendered correctly. Expression errors now display source marker previously only filename, line and column was shown. No longer require Python source files to import modules. Optimizations: Simplify exception tracking, reducing bytecode size significantly. Avoid checking if a static string is None during expression interpolation.

Fix use of macro definition inside translation block. Improvements: Allow unquoted attribute values. Wrap attribute error thrown when trying to use a non-macro as a macro as a RenderError to get proper error output. Include filename in the on-disk cache module name. Previously, only the SHA digest in hex representation would be used, making it difficult to see where the module came from.

Add support for non-ascii attribute names. Fixed brown bag release. Clean up TemplateError exception implementation. Fix environment-based configuration logging error. This changes a behavior introduced in 2.

Remove fossil test dependency on deprecated distribute. Use absolute import for chameleon. Using the three-argument form of getattr on a chameleon. RepeatDict no longer raises KeyError , letting the default provided to getattr be used.

Bugfixes: Implicit translation now correctly extracts and normalizes complete sentences, instead of words. Fix minor parser issue with incorrectly formatted processing instructions. Provide proper error handling for Python inline code blocks. Features: The simple translation function now supports the translationstring interface. Optimizations: Minor optimization which correctly detects when an element has no attributes.

Optimizations: In order to cut down on the size of the compiled function objects, some conversion and quoting statements have been put into functions. The benchmark suite does not report of an increased render time actually slightly decreased. Bugfixes: An exception is now raised if a trivial string is passed for metal:fill-slot.

An empty string is now never translated. The template module loader file cache now correctly encodes generated template source code as UTF Fixed issue where a closure might be reused unsafely in nested template rendering.

Added missing return statement to fix printing the non-abbreviated filename in case of an exception. Fixed issue which caused testing failures on some platforms.

The tal:on-error statement now always adds an explicit end-tag to the element, even with a substitution content of nothing. Fixed issue The tal:on-error statement now works correctly also for dynamic attributes. That is, the fallback tag now includes only static attributes. Fixed name error which prevented the benchmark from running correctly.

Compatibility: Fixed deprecation warning on Python 3 for zope interface implements declaration. Note that historically, this was usually an HTTP request which might provide language negotiation data through a dictionary interface. Fixes issue Bugfixes: Include filename and location in exception output for exceptions raised during compilation.

If a trivial translation substitution variable is given i. This fixes an incompatibility with ZPT. The loader now correctly handles absolute paths on Windows. This means that the innermost, and presumably most relevant exception is shown last. Bugfixes: The exception formatter now correctly recognizes nested errors and does not rewrap the dynamically generated exception class.

The exception formatter now keeps track of already formatted exceptions, and ignores them from further output. This option exists to provide compatibility with the reference implementation.

Bugfixes: Ignore unhashable builtins when generating a reverse builtin map to quickly look up a builtin value. The translation domain for a slot is defined by the source document, i. The page template class now implements dictionary access to macros: template[name] This is a short-hand for: template. This has been fixed, and the compiler now also throws an exception if an attribute specification contains a comma.

Note that the only valid separator character is the semicolon, when specifying attributes for translation via the i18n:translate statement. This addresses issue Fixed issue where macros attribute would not be available on file-based templates due to incorrect initialization. These have been aliased to Try. The class essentially a callable is created at template construction time. An attributes in i18n:attributes no longer needs to match an existing or dynamic attribute in order to appear in the element.

The string-based template constructor now accepts encoded input. Fixed issue that would prevent escaping of interpolation expression values appearing in text. Encoded expression input on Python 3 is now correctly decoded. Previously, the string representation output would be included instead of an actually decoded string. Expression result conversion steps are now correctly included in error handling such that the exception output points to the expression location.

Bugfixes: Fixed pypy compatibility issue introduced in previous release. Fixed issue where the use of the default name in an attribute interpolation expression would print the attribute value. An attribute value of default now correctly drops the attribute.

In the reference implementation, the following attributes are configured as boolean values when the template is rendered in HTML-mode: "compact", "nowrap", "ismap", "declare", "noshade", "checked", "disabled", "readonly", "multiple", "selected", "noresize", "defer" Note that in Chameleon, these attributes must be manually provided. Final Cut Pro crashes when you do a Log and Transfer. These are all old problems we had before and was fixed with the old smbios hacks.

Unfortunately they do not work on Snow Leopard. Do I need to add an entry to the smbios. I received no response from the Netkas forums, perhaps someone here could help? Thanks for all your great work. I have Chameleon installed in Leopard partition, and Snow Leopard is in a different partition and a different disk. Can you at least specify a different com. I tried putting a Extra folder on each partition and it works, kinda, the Extra folder in Leopard partition is read always, even when booting Snow Leopard.

Please fix this, multibooting support is completely broken. Different kexts for If anyone got this working maybe he could explain with a clear example what specific paths you have to use and which partition you have put the kexts and plist. Until I found this, I was stumped. Chameleon team — Thanks! Everything includes making a clone of SL. Unfortunately the latest fakesmc did not work someone said that it could take up to 10 minutes to load?

All these in 64bit mode. The important thing is that this latest release is in the right direction, Software Update works fine also. Thanks to the team for this great work! Hi, another one of these. I know it loads other kernel flags fine e.

What flag may I have missed that will do this from c. Hi to all! Special thanks to Chameleon team for their job! But still have same problem as metioned above — have a Chameleon, Have somebody this thing workable? I have it set up with Or it has built-in fix for Natit and Motmot to detect the proper native resolution for my monitor?

Thanks in advance. I think there are more bugs than in the other releases! It would be also good to boot the standard-kernel if no one is specified — it prevents errors before booting! I had not noticed this before. However other people have more serious problems with DVD player which is a 32bit app even in real Macs. I even installed Logic Studio 2 and then I noticed that the program crashed unless I saved a project first.

This is not good, however this weekend I will install SL from a Mac Pro to one of my discs and afterwards on the Hackintosh I will test different releases of Chameleon from 1. Thanks everybody. Kabyl, Bingo!! Thank you so much. Perfect now. Nowhere did it say key, everywhere people say use kernel flag arch… thanks for clarifying and thank you for your work. Please note Log and Transfer not Log and Capture. I am running in 32 bit mode. This is a specialized subject… The only thing I can say is: Do you have the same problem with Leopard?

Nevertheless this has nothing to do with Chameleon and smbios. The other error I mentioned above I did some research and found Article: TS from Apple which says that we can safely ignore this particular warning! So my bad and again nothing wrong with Chameleon RC3. Its not the USB , if you point it to a file on your hard drive it crashes. Thank you! OK, one error is too many and you never know what else will come up… I still use One from the smbios.

I think we should give it some more time and see how it goes…. Thanks for all your efforts, Interestling enough under Management info, System board I have no serial number it says. Perhaps this is where the problem lies. Under Computer I do have a serial number and it is the same as in the smbios.

Very tricky indeed, just amazed that no one else seems to have the same problem or everyone is just pleading ignorant. Everything works great though using the very same chameleon RC3 with Neither my Firewire nor my USB soundcard works, but both of them are listed in the system-profiler.

I have one disk rdisk0 that has a I only installed RC3 on rdisk1. It selects rdisk1s3 as the default partition which is not my SL partition so I use Instant Menu to give me a chance to change to the SL partition and this boots successfully.

I decided to use the Default Partition option to set SL as hd 1,4 but this did not work. So I changed my setting for Default Partition to hd 0,4 and it worked. It defaulted to my SL partition. After booting this successfully, I again did a diskutil list and it listed SL as rdisk1s4. Now this may be a function of my changing the disk order in the BIOS but once up in OS X, it still maintains the original disk numbering.

Also i get confused by an other. I have my EPDS4 but first up an running. But on my Lap Samsug Q45 I have no look wit the second partition. I need to better understand the boot process. RC3 on my first internal disk Gigabyte Board seems not to my Extra folder. I found out few interesting things on my system. It seems like they just SIT here and absorb.. I managed to install it on first partition I was installed it on both, but then it turned out that i need only on first one , put Extra folder in root dir.

And tried various combinations of file structures. So I think theres some error with finding Thank You. What excat happens when Chamelon RC3 starts? Z from device selected in the menue. It would be really neat if the Chameleon Installer asked or detected what motherboard and other hardware you were installing for, and had a database to query for which kext drivers should be needed.

However… Was it a typo or did you intend to format your flashdrive with the wrong file system? UniX is very particular about character cases. You said that you used a file system which is not case sensitive.

The lifehacker instructions say to use the Case Sensitive file system. This 1st HD is Afterwards, restarts etc, all numbers are mixed up. After restarts the numbers again were all over the place….

One more thing for clarification of the UUID scheme. A disk with one single partition has a single UUID. Now, if we partition this same disk into three partitions, each partition gets its own UUID , i. Do I need to continue explaining? You use another smbios. I have tried with various serial numbers, that particular one was from the netkas kext that worked on Leopard.

I cannot understand why we should have two versions of basically the same thing. Either way the smbios. Also, I have snow leopard and leopard each on a hdd and I can boot from them with chameleon but if I want to boot from the hdd with 2 partitions with windows 7 and vista on each, if I choose windows vista nothing happens, if I choose windows 7 it gives me the windows boot loader to choose again windows 7 and vista, and here vista works.

I am looking for a way to run old OSX Versions like There are a ton of Apple developers looking for such a solution to test their apps on older OS X versions in any case! I installed it standard and replaced the boot with RC3 boot.

If I boot in normal mode, I get a blue screen with the cursor and then a black screen. Is this a bug or my error? Kabyl or someone, could you perhaps give some guidance as to fix this issue? Note: I have been around and know how to chown, chmod and kextcache….

They will produce new features hey great! BlackOSX is having the same problem. He ended up using an mkext. Thats why I have only been using it in 32 bits. Surprise, Final Cut Log and Transfer work in 64 bit kernel and not with 32 bit kernel.

Yet it works perfectly under Leopard. SIL is not working with SL. Do some search on this subject please and see what the status is on and SL. Well, I learn new things every day…. When I install it using the Terminal, it say the resource is busy. This subject has been raised recently on Insanelymac:. Great work, Thanks for every things. But i have a question.

NVDAR esman. Does anyone know how to fix this? Having the same problem as Tha80 and eetfunk, got a 1. No second partition or dualboot, and it works fine on a flash drive. Alvin I had your same issue. The drive needs to be unmounted.. Right click on it and click Eject Drive. You can then run the command. Your efforts are appreciated by me and many others in the community, which by my estimation would have never taken off to the extent it has, had you not made it accessible, and provided your help to others.

This is an advanced undertaking requiring more knowledge than how to search a torrent site, try google. If you still are having issues, ask a teenager for help. A short cut to success: Apple Store — Purchase Hardware. This is a Full-Stop, absolute guarantied successful first boot.

Thank you very much for not abandoning a grateful Mostly community. The truth is indisputable, we depend on you far more than you need us. It took me 4 days to debug the beast. I am writing it on my Dell without any help of flash, only Chameleon from HD. Between you guys, the iDeneb crew and all the various. Mind you.. I still hate Mac OS.. But now I understand why I hate it in more detail :D It would be really sweet if someone devised a way to run the Mac OS gui on top of the linux X windowing system.

Or if they have I would love to mess with it. I tried to put Chameleon 2. Did you find a DSDT patch anywhere? Does anyone have this issue? Note: AppleLPC. So I just skipped the fdisk step. Hi, guys! Do we have some chance to correct this in the future? I use Chameleon 2. I need my dsdt. My extensions are in a hidden EFI partition. Other than that, flawless. If you have a 1. Apparently default partition need to be set in com. Going to compile the RC3 source code to enable debug mode so that I can post the exact error messages in the voodooprojects forum.

I used the pkg and it installs but when boots my wireless and GPU no longer work correctly. Any ideas? Running Thank you for all of your hard work, a donation was made. OSx86 would not exist in such an awesome state without your dedication.
