I checked all necessary settings, obviously, and the problem is NLA. I am getting the error: The remote computer you are trying to connect to requires NLA Network Level Authentication which your computer does not support.
I thought this was strange as I never set the server to require NLA. I know I should but anyway I have verified that the server is in fact not set to require NLA so this should not be stopping the connection. Now, both laptops have RDC version 6.
